This community cookbook is a place where we remember and celebrate great cooks. We share dishes prepared in varied regions by cooks from diverse ethnic backgrounds hoping that as we exchange our family heirlooms, and learn more about each other, we also develop an appreciation for what makes us different and alike.

How it Works

Follow the prompts in our questionnaire. The questions start out easy, asking for your name and contact information, as well as some basic information about your ancestor cook.

Take time to remember. Re-live the past, sifting through memories of family gatherings at the table, telling us a little bit about your dish.
